About me

A photo of myself

Greetings! My name is Răzvan Beuran. I am currently a researcher with the Hokuriku Research Center of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), and a project researcher with the Dependable Network Innovation Center of the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), both located in Ishikawa, Japan.

At present I mainly do research on the effects of quality degradation on network application performance, in particular in the context of wireless networks. An overview of this activity is available here.

My professional activity is summarized in the Curriculum Vitae. A list of Publications and presentations (with links in most cases) is also available.

If you want to find out more about my true self (BEWARE!), a selection of the things I do in my spare time is presented in the section entitled Hobbies.
